Please don't wash your hair or put any product on it before your appointment, not even conditioner, oil or detangler. Water and product tighten a mat, and undoing that adds hours to the session.

Send your photos on WhatsApp. I'm Vitalii Prisacari and I work alone, so they come straight to me. If you'd rather not send a photograph, tell me the length, the texture, how long it has been matted and which part of the head is worst. That is usually enough for an honest estimate.
What It Will Take
I reply with a grade from my five-grade scale and the hours, so you know the total first. Grade 1, tangled hair, is 1 to 2 hours. A Grade 3 runs 6 to 9 hours, and a Grade 5 can take 14 hours or more.
I Book You In
You choose the date. Dematting sessions usually book one to two weeks ahead, and the £100 deposit holds the slot and comes off your final total. If plans change, tell me early. The refund policy says when the deposit comes back.

If travelling is hard for you right now, I can come to you. It's the same detangling service as in the studio: each mat is opened dry, with nothing on it until the section starts to move. People ask for illness, disability, mental health or childcare, or because they'd rather not travel. In my case record, depression, illness and hospital stays are the biggest single cause of matting, at 42% of all my clients, so you won't be the first to ask. Say in your first message that you need a home visit.
